Electronic Arts has banned FIFA professional Kurt Kurt0411 Fenech from competing in eSports tournaments in this discipline due to “personal attacks.” Kurt claims that he was actually banned due to critical and negative comments about the game.

Fenech later said that he was suspended from the competition for two months. According to the player, such a long ban ruined his plans for the next year: Kurt0411 will not be able to qualify for some tournaments and participate in them. In this regard, he decided to end his career.

Kurt0411 believes that the ban’s reason is unfair. In his opinion, almost all professional players can be removed from the competition for “personal attacks”. Many of them exchanged taunts after matches, but only he was banned. Fenech is sure that the real reason for the ban is his criticism of Electronic Arts and the company’s game development policy: he expressed dissatisfaction with the state of FIFA and the inaction of the development company.

Kurt0411 has been playing FIFA for about 10 years. He finished third in the 2018 FIFA eWorld Cup.
