This is the first part where height and weight affect the speed, behavior and movements of the character: depending on their physical data, players move, jump and wave their arms differently. EA invented a way to personalize football players that solves a lot of old problems, like reactive defenders who used to run at the same speed as wingers.

“Archetypes” completely change the behavior of the player with the ball, his style of conducting and working with the body. It is these animation presets that distinguish the heroes from each other that create unique cases on the field that resemble real situations in football. True, they were not applied to the women’s teams: there everyone plays the same way.
