Twisted shots have become less effective with the new patch for FIFA 19. Now players will miss more often when the ball flies to them from the back – in the range from 135 to 225 degrees.

EA has also changed the balance of pressure: now defenders will be better off picking the ball, facing the opponent, but worse – attacking from the back. The developers also reduced the effectiveness of the defenders, who are approaching the opponent from the side.

Other changes include improved goalkeeper AI (they now make fewer mistakes), new faces for several players, and an updated interface for online matches.
