Division Rivals Review

In FIFA 19, we introduced features that fundamentally change the functioning of the basic online FUT modes. Division Rivals has become a new way to play online and qualify for the Weekend League. The regime is based on the player’s level evaluation system based on the Elo coefficient, which is expressed in your skill rating. In this mode, you play all week and fight for weekly rewards.

The popularity of Division Rivals among players since the release of FIFA 19 exceeded all our expectations – this mode quickly became the most popular in FUT: more than 1 billion matches were played in it. We are pleased with such a high demand for Division Rivals, however, we continue to monitor the situation and try to find opportunities to improve the gaming experience. Recently, we have made a number of changes to the reward system for players in various divisions. Today I will tell you about the reasons that prompted us to make new changes to Division Rivals.

What is changing?

When the weekly tournament ends on March 27 and the next one begins, the requirements for the skill level (skill rating) for various divisions will be changed, which means that as a result of these changes, some players will be transferred to higher divisions.

In divisions 7-10 there will be no changes to the level of skill. For players in divisions 1-6, the requirements for the skill level will be reduced. If, as a result of these changes, your skill level corresponds to the new division, you will be transferred to the new division and begin this tournament in it. The reduction of the division in the framework of these changes is not provided.
